Mount Rinjani Trekking Package 6D/5N

DAY 1 : PICK UP FROM AIRPORT – CITY TOUR – OVERNIGHT IN SENGGIGI

Our staff will pick up you from airport Bandara Selaparang and then bring you to enjoy Mataram city (the capital of Lombok Island). Trough this program you can see the Mayura Palace, Narmada Garden, Museum and part of old building on Lombok. We will do the program around 5 hours and than transfer to Sengggi to overnight.

DAY 2 : RINJANI TREKKING CENTER – POS 1 – POS 2 – SENARU CRATER RIM

Pick up in the early morning at 05:30 AM and than transfer by private car to Senaru. Registration at the Rinjani Trek Center (RTC) 601 m and start the trek to Pos 1 (Bunut Ngengkang) 750 m, walking time about 1 hour. We will rest for 5 mins, and then continue to Pos 2 ( Montong Satas) 1500 m, walking time about 2 hrs. At Pos 2 ( Montong Satas) we will have lunch, a hot drink, fresh fruits and a rest. Then we will continue to Pos 3 (Mondokan Lokak) 2000 m, walking time about 2 hrs. We will rest for 5 minutes and then continue to Senaru crater rim 2641 m, walking time about 2 hours.
From Senaru crater rim , you can see a spectacular view of Segara Anak lake, Baby Volcano, summit of Mt. Rinjani, Gili Air, Gili Meno, Gili Terawangan, and Bali also. We will enjoy the sunset, and then camp overnight here.

DAY 3 : SENARU CRATER RIM – SEGARA ANAK – HOT SPRINGS

After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise, we will trek down to Segara Anak lake 2000 m, walking time about 2 hours. The next step we will go to hot springs, walking time only 10 minutes from the lake. We will have lunch at the lake and then continue to visit Milk Cave, walking time about 30 mins. We will camp and overnight at the lake of Mount Rinjani.

DAY 4 : SEGARA ANAK LAKE – SEMBALUN CRATER RIM

After breakfast, we will continue to visit Baby Volcano (2363 m) and enjoy the lake on the way, walking time about 3 hours. We will enjoy the view from top of Baby Volcano of Mount Rinjani, and then return to base camp. We will have lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying the lake, with the option for fishing or swimming. We will camp and overnight again at the lake.

DAY 5 : SEGARA ANAK LAKE – SEMBALUN CRATER RIM

After breakfast we will enjoy the lake until lunch time. We will continue to trek to the Sembalun crater rim, walking time about 3 hours. From here we will enjoy the sunset and the incredible view of the lake and the summit. We will camp overnight here.

DAY 6 : SEMBALUN CRATER RIM – SUMMIT OF RINJANI – TREK DOWN VIA SEMBALUN

We will wake up at 02:00 AM and than take the breakfast. At 03:00 AM start to trek to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3726 m). Walking time about 3 hours and 40 minutes. The first stage is a moderate climb for 2 hours and the second stage is a fairly easy but long trek. The last hour is very steep and difficult (there are many loose stones, and as you take two steps forward, you will slip one step back). From the Summit of Mount Rinjani, you can see all of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa and the Lake.
After sunrise, we will go down to the Sembalun crater rim and have breakfast and a rest. Then we will continue to go down to Sembalun village, walking time about 7 hours, and this is the end of the trekking program. You will be transferred to Senggigi or airport for your next destination.
